We design the structural systems of new buildings and plan and deliver the strengthening of existing ones, in line with the Turkish Building Earthquake Code (TBDY 2018) and TS 500.
Structural design for new buildings
We prepare structural designs for reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry buildings: residential blocks, villas, hotels, offices, schools, healthcare and industrial buildings.

Retrofitting existing buildings
When a seismic performance assessment shows that a building does not meet the required performance, or before adding floors or changing its use, we design and deliver the strengthening work.
Concrete jacketing
Enlarging columns and beams with new reinforcement and concrete.
New shear walls
Adding reinforced concrete walls to increase lateral strength and stiffness.
FRP wrapping
Carbon or glass fibre composites that improve ductility and shear capacity without enlarging sections.
Steel strengthening
Steel bracing, steel jackets or frames where fast installation is needed.
Strengthen or rebuild?
Not every building is worth strengthening. We compare the cost of retrofitting with rebuilding, taking into account the building’s age, concrete quality, remaining service life and whether it can stay in use during the works.
Software and standards
We work with domestic and international structural analysis and design software, and design to TBDY 2018 and TS 500, using Eurocode, ACI, AISC and ASCE where required.
